We have seen the obscene videos of the erosion and the dereliction of buildings that were intended to offer safe homes for families, but alas due to exploitation and greed, dreams have been ruthlessly shattered and the consequences are dire.
The prospect of financial ruin and homelessness stares down on hundreds of families on a daily basis.
However, much more clandestine pressures are afoot.

The human side of this abysmal story has far reaching traumatic emotional consequences.
Whole families are setting up camp in their living rooms and live in constant dread of catastrophe.
The duress and distress is bearing down on the very fabric of home and family security.
Partners are at loggerheads with each other, trying to live a normal life, yet it is being denied by the very essence of the structure called home.
Children are trembling in their beds while the house trembles around them.

This is 3rd World Donegal being ignored by our ostrich politicians that are failing their loyal voters with contempt.

Minister Charlie McConalogue, Joe McHugh, Padraig MacLochlainn, Pearse Doherty and Thomas Pringle, the 5 TD’s missing from any action and burying their collective heads in the sand, while ignoring their duty as elected representatives to bring this fight, as one voice to the Dail and get the justice our people expect and deserve.

For once, can you not forego your Party loyalties and stand together as a spearhead for decency.
Set up a Test Centre in Donegal, catalogue the results and commence a programme of reconstruction with a time scale.
Put our beleaguered families at the forefront of your agenda.

Is this too much to ask. ?, is it really. ?
