The Shore Front
Welcome to the Shore Front Buncrana, a beauty spot, a place of leisure. It is wonderful to have a children’s playground there and a decent car park for locals and visitors alike to enjoy the surrounding environment.
The Swimming Pool should never be forgotten, it remains closed now for years and is surrounded in secrecy. There are many unanswered questions as to who closed it in the first place and if they ever intended to reopen it.
A vital resource has been lost to the town and the rest of Inishowen as school children have been bussed into the Foyle Arena since it closed.
The health and wellbeing of the local people would be greatly enhanced if the swimming pool were reopened.
Local councillors and TD’s have slept their way through last year and have used the pandemic as an excuse to do nothing. They are in hiding. When they re-emerge, they should be held to account for the lack of action on the Swimming Pool.

- Conference Area and Schools Area
- Exhibition Area
- Exercise Area
