"Use it or lose it"

"Use it or lose it" is what we say when asked about the Old Garda Station, it IS ours after all, BUT it will be sold off to to some property developer to make a fast buck and later we will buy it back form that developer at a hugely inflated price.

Is this not the usual corruption that goes on around town, we could name a few but would probably end up in court if we did print any names here, so we have to be careful.
Laws are put in place to protect the guilty at the expense of the innocent, as you know.

Mothers and Babies know all about it, they were locked up and many of them never made it out of those institutions to escape to England or to tell their story.

As Enda Kenny was once quoted as saying “It is the best little country in the world for doing funny business
That was in a German magazine, of course.

They were very grateful to him for how he ran this country for them. (minus the funny of course)

The Old Garda Station is owned by the State and managed by The Office of Public Works (OPW)
They claim that they asked the people of Buncrana already for their suggestions on what use the building should be put to and they got no reply. Not one suggestion.

Buncrana needs to put in a submission soon to the OPW with a plan for the future use or it will be gone.

Please add your suggestions to the list below by email:
